I'm an economist and researcher. Most of my work returns to one question: how do central bank interventions and market structure move asset prices? I follow it from ETF markets and the Bank of Japan to financial fragmentation in the Eurozone.

About
I have been a Lecturer at CUNEF Universidad in Madrid since 2025. Before Madrid I spent two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome and a year as a visiting researcher at the Leibniz Institute SAFE in Frankfurt. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics at Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, in 2024, and I work with the Bruegel think tank on European economic policy.
Research focus
I keep coming back to ETF markets and the Bank of Japan — how its interventions and ETF Purchase Program changed volatility and pulled private investors into the market. A second line of work looks to Europe: macroeconomic policy and the financial fragmentation that still divides the Eurozone.
