I'm an economist and researcher. Most of my work returns to one question: what happens between a policy rate and a real decision? I follow that transmission from the Bank of Japan's ETF interventions to the banking sector's intermediation wedge, and to investment, consumption, and fragmentation across the Eurozone.

About
I have been a Lecturer at CUNEF Universidad in Madrid since 2025. Before Madrid I spent three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome and two years as a visiting researcher at the Leibniz Institute SAFE in Frankfurt. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics at Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, in 2024, and I work with the Bruegel think tank on European economic policy.
Research focus
My research focuses on monetary policy, and especially on unconventional measures: how they work, what they move, and where they stop. I study their effects on both sides of the same channel, in asset prices and financial markets first, and in firms' investment and real activity after.
